The medical center, including the maternity hospital and polyclinic, is situated at 14 Titogradyan Street, Erebuni district, Yerevan.
In urgent cases, medical assessments are carried out according to the physician’s instructions. If hospitalization is required, the patient is admitted immediately, and the center coordinates with the insurance company for confirmation. For planned treatments, the beneficiary submits the necessary medical documents, including a doctor's referral and previous test results, to the social care service department. The insurance company responds within two working days, after which the treatment or surgery is scheduled.
Free Services with a Medical Prescription:
Social package beneficiaries are entitled to the following examinations free of charge with a doctor's referral:
- Echocardiography
- Treadmill test
- Holter monitoring
- Mammography
- Gastroscopy
- X-ray with intravenous contrast (for kidney stones)
- Colonoscopy
- Preventive medical examination (once a year at the regional polyclinic), which includes:
- General blood test
- Total cholesterol test
- Abdominal ultrasound
- Thyroid ultrasound
- Breast ultrasound
- Small pelvic ultrasound
- ECG
- Gynecologist consultation
- Surgeon or urologist consultation
- Therapist consultation
Examinations with Co-payment:
The following examinations are available in outpatient settings with a co-payment from the beneficiary:
Computed Tomography (CT)
- 1 segment: 10,000 AMD
- 2 segments: 15,000 AMD
- 3 or more segments: 20,000 AMD
CT Angiography
- 1 segment: 17,500 AMD
- 2 segments: 22,500 AMD
- 3 segments: 27,500 AMD
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- 1 segment: 17,500 AMD
- 2 segments: 35,000 AMD
- With contrast, 1 segment: 30,000 AMD
- With contrast, 2 segments: 47,500 AMD
Surgical Services and Emergency Care:
Beneficiaries can also receive surgical interventions under the social package, including advanced technologies for the prevention and treatment of strokes, coronary angiography, stenting of coronary vessels, pacemaker implantation, and ablation. Additionally, emergency medical care in life-threatening situations is available in inpatient settings.
Family members of social package beneficiaries are not eligible for medical care under the package.
Note: Medical assistance for family members of servicemen or individuals equated to servicemen who are beneficiaries of the social package is provided in accordance with RA Government Decision N806-N.
Beneficiaries wishing to receive an examination at Erebuni Medical Center may contact +(374) 55-55-30-70 and submit their documents via the Viber application linked to this number. Following approval from the insurance company, a medical center representative will promptly notify the patient regarding the application status and the scheduled date of the visit.
Only beneficiaries of the social package affiliated with the Erebuni Medical Center’s polyclinic are eligible to undergo a preventive medical examination at the center. Following the approval of the application, beneficiaries on the waiting list can expect to complete their preventive medical examination within a short timeframe, typically within one day, at which point the corresponding certificate will also be issued. To facilitate the preventive medical examination, it is required to present an ID card at the Erebuni Medical Center a few days prior to the scheduled visit or to register by sending a copy of the ID card via the Viber application to the telephone number +(374) 55-55-30-70.
Examinations and treatments covered by the package are conducted solely based on a doctor’s referral. If applicable, the results of any prior examinations must also be presented.
Once your insurance company approves the refund, the medical center will provide a written application along with the cashier's slip.
Priority is always given to beneficiaries of the social package. Free medical care may be accessed through another program if the required service is not included in the social package.

Out-of-hospital medical care and services (including dental and ophthalmological services), except for the cases specified in points 2 and 9 of this appendix.

Examinations, medical interventions, or any other healthcare and maintenance services (including medications and medical supplies) provided at the beneficiary's request and/or performed without a doctor's appointment.

Services, examinations, medications, or other healthcare services that were not actually rendered to the beneficiary, as well as costs associated with a preferred separate paid ward chosen by the patient.

Hospital examinations of individuals of pre-conscription or conscription age.

Physiotherapeutic measures and/or treatments, including resort or rehabilitation therapies, as well as any preventive or invigorating measures.

Non-traditional alternative treatments and diagnostic methods, as well as the acquisition of unlicensed medications or medical supplies as outlined by the regulations of the Republic of Armenia.

Allergy diagnostics and scarification tests.

Prosthetics for limbs and/or their individual segments, including prostheses, medical equipment, implants, visual and hearing devices, and other regulatory medical devices (except in cases defined in subparagraph 2 of paragraph 5 of this appendix).

Health impairments (excluding injuries) resulting from or related to the beneficiary's use of alcohol, drugs, narcotics, toxic substances, or medications without a doctor's prescription.

Plague, tularemia, anthrax, cholera, typhus, poliomyelitis, and their complications or consequences.

Borderline mental states (such as neurosis, psychopathy, psychosis, etc.), mental illnesses, their consequences, and psychotherapist services, including hypnosis.

Obstetric care, including delivery, pregnancy pathology, and prenatal and postnatal care for pregnant women.

Periodic diseases, such as tuberculosis, narcotic diseases, alcoholism, drug addiction, and toxicomania.

Primarily sexually transmitted diseases, including medical care and services related to HIV/AIDS.

Chemotherapeutic and rehabilitative care (including sanatorium services) for oncological diseases.

Diseases requiring extrarenal blood purification, including chronic renal failure (plasmapheresis, hemosorption, etc.), except for cases of acute renal failure where no more than four sessions of extrarenal blood purification are compensated.

Research and/or treatment related to reproductive function and/or erectile dysfunction (impotence), dysmenorrhea, contraceptive interventions, including the insertion and/or removal of an intrauterine device (IUD) and other contraceptives.

Chronic diseases requiring non-surgical treatment and/or management of their subacute phase, as well as ongoing conservative treatment and/or dynamic monitoring (excluding life-threatening exacerbations requiring urgent hospital treatment), including:
a. Congenital anomalies, developmental defects, other anatomical features, hereditary and genetic diseases, and epilepsy.
b. Childhood cerebral palsy, diabetes, and non-specific chronic lung diseases such as emphysema and pneumosclerosis.
c. Intervertebral disc lesions, degenerative dystrophic changes of the spine (such as protrusions and hernias), osteochondrosis, and postural abnormalities including scoliosis and kyphosis.
d. Autoimmune diseases, systemic connective tissue diseases, psoriasis, and eczema.
e. Liver failure, chronic viral infections (including viral hepatitis), chronic bacillary infections, and chronic parasitism.
In urgent situations, examinations are conducted based on a medical order, and if necessary, the patient is admitted for emergency hospitalization while the insurance company's approval is obtained during the process. For planned cases, the patient should contact the insurance company using the number provided on their card and present a confirmed application to the insurance service at Erebuni Medical Center.
Esophagogastroduodenoscopy is a diagnostic procedure used to examine the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum. This method allows for the detection of various diseases affecting these organs, including esophagitis, gastritis, ulcers, and both benign and malignant neoplasms. Additionally, if necessary, tissue samples can be collected for histological examination. This examination can also identify the presence of Helicobacter pylori infection.
Dietary Guidelines Prior to Examination
1-2 Days Before the Examination: It is advisable to avoid the following foods:
- Chocolate
- Nuts
- Seeds and high-fiber spicy foods
- Salads prepared with large amounts of mayonnaise
- Whole grain bread
- Fatty meats or fish
- Cheeses
Permissible Foods Include:
- Green salads
- Chicken
- Chicken stew with cutlets
- Buckwheat porridge
- Low-fat cottage cheese
Please refrain from consuming grain products and legumes.
For dinner on the evening before the examination, a suitable option is mashed potatoes or steamed broccoli.
Alcohol Consumption: It is recommended to abstain from alcoholic beverages.
Meal Timing: The last meal should be completed no later than 18:00 on the day prior to the examination. This meal should be substantial but free of hard-to-digest foods.
Pre-Examination Instructions:
- Do not eat or drink anything prior to the examination.
- A small amount of water may be consumed no later than 2-4 hours before the examination.
- Postpone taking medications in the form of capsules or tablets.
If you have a history of allergies, particularly to medications, please inform your doctor.
If you have previously undergone research or received inpatient treatment related to this examination, it is advisable to present the epicrisis and relevant research results.
For examinations conducted under government orders or insurance, please confirm the compensation details with the appropriate department; otherwise, the examination will only be available on a paid basis.
The computed tomography examination of the gastrointestinal tract is conducted using intravenous contrast.
