The International Training Center for Emergency and Disaster Medicine of Armenia is the result of cooperation between doctors of Erebouni Medical Center, Harvard Medical Faculty, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The modern training center is equipped with the necessary materials, simulation dummies, and equipment. It is taught by highly qualified specialists who have been retrained in various US centers and have received the right to teach under international programs. Founder of Erebouni MC Harutyun Kushkyan and Director of the Department of Disaster Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical University, former President of the World Association of Disaster and Emergency Medicine Gregory Seaton signed a memorandum of cooperation.
During the training, medical workers will not only learn what life-saving measures are needed in emergency situations, but also how to navigate and use the resources of the community or eyewitnesses to overcome critical situations.
The purpose of the International Training Center for Emergency and Disaster Medicine of Armenia is to train qualified specialists who will provide quick and effective medical assistance in natural disasters or emergencies.
