In one hall, about 200 specialists discuss the main issues of traumatology. Some of them came to Armenia from the leading medical centers of the world, others from various medical institutions of the republic. This is one of the largest scientific conferences in this field, both in terms of the number of participants and geography, as well as the importance of the issues discussed.
Dr. Norayr Zakaryan, co-founder of the Gyumri Orthopedic School International educational program, Head of the Traumatology Department of the National Institute of Health of the Ministry of Health, orthopedic traumatologist of MC Erebouni , is once again organizing such an event with his colleagues. The goal is to introduce Armenian specialists to the latest international standards, exchange experience with them, and present Armenian doctors at various international venues. Leading traumatologists of the world are invited to give lectures at such international educational events. They introduce our specialists to the latest achievements and opportunities in this field. The world-famous orthopedic traumatologist Dr. Beat Hintermann arrived in Armenia from Switzerland to participate in the conference. Dr. Armen Hovhannisyan, Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery and Microsurgery of MC Erebouni, presents the complex surgeries carried out in Armenia, some of which were carried out during the 44-day war.
