Erebuni Medical Center’s Cardiology Center: Advanced Services, Cutting-Edge Equipment, and a Dedication to Saving Lives
At the heart of the Cardiology Center at Erebuni Medical Center lies a combination of state-of-the-art equipment, highly skilled professionals, and a strong commitment to teamwork. Under the leadership of Hamlet Hayrapetyan, Advisor to the RA Minister of Health, President of the Armenian Cardiologists Association, and Head of the Erebuni Cardiology Center, thousands of patients with cardiovascular issues receive life-saving treatments every year.
The center is equipped to handle a wide range of complex cardiovascular cases, offering top-tier medical care to patients from across the country. From urgent cardiology to advanced angiographic interventions, the center provides a complete care pathway for patients, including emergency services, intensive care, arrhythmology, angiography, and cardiopulmonology. Each year, the center hospitalizes over 10,000 patients and performs more than 3,000 stenting procedures. The intensive care unit is a critical part of the center, offering continuous care for patients with severe heart conditions, while arrhythmological surgeries, such as ablations, address heart rhythm disorders with advanced techniques.
The outpatient services at Erebuni’s Cardiology Center are equally robust, featuring the latest technology, including multifunctional echocardiographic systems, Holter monitors, modern electrocardiographs, and treadmill tests. One of the center's standout pieces of equipment is the Vivid E95 Ultra Edition from General Electric, a premium cardiovascular ultrasound device powered by artificial intelligence (AI). This system offers unmatched image quality, allowing for 2D and 4D visualization of the heart, enabling early detection of cardiovascular changes and enhancing diagnostic accuracy.
The angiography department utilizes Siemens-manufactured modern angiographs for a variety of intravascular procedures, including vessel examinations, stenting, aortic valve prosthetics, and other complex interventions.
In an effort to streamline services and enhance patient convenience, Erebuni Medical Center has digitized its document management system, centralizing services and programs. Patients can now access medical results online through the center’s official website and mobile app, which is available for free on the App Store and Play Market.
The Cardiology Center adheres to international medical guidelines, and its specialists regularly undergo training at world-renowned cardiology clinics. The center also collaborates with the Heart Failure Association (HFA) of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) to host scientific conferences and training courses.
