For the first time in Armenia in MC Erebouni 3D mapping system Carto 3 has been used for ablation procedure.

50-years-old patient M.A. was admitted to Arrhythmology Cardiology Center of MC Erebouni with complaints of frequent seizures of paroxysmal tachycardia. According to the patient, seizures have increased in recent years and repeated almost every week.

It was decided to carry out an electrophysiological study with a possible ablation. The procedure was carried out under local anesthesia in catheterization laboratory of MC Erebouni by head of Arrhythmology Cardiology Center of MC Erebouni Dr. M. Martirosyan (MD,PhD). During the procedure, it became clear that in order to define accurately the foci of arrhythmia, safe and effective ablation, the intervention must be continued with the involvement of a three-dimensional navigation system.

Radiofrequency ablation of the foci of arrhythmia was successfully and safely carried out. The patient was discharged from Arrhythmology Department next day in satisfactory condition.
