In January 2015 as a result of integration of cardiology and cardiac surgery services and departments the Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic of Erebouni Medical Center was created and includes

The head of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic of Erebouni Medical Center is professor of Yerevan State Medical university Hamlet Hayrapetyan (MD, PhD, grand PhD).The Scientific Board of Specialists had been formed from the specialists of the clinic and includes:

The head of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic is responsible for quality of professional services and patient treatment. He is established cooperation between the various departments of the Clinic, to ensure smooth functioning. In collaboration with the Board the Head of the Clinic develop and introduce into the clinical practice of departments of Clinic the modern approaches for treatment of various diseases. Once a week the Head of the Clinic has workaround at each department of the Clinic, everyday - workaround at intensive care unit and at intensive care unit of cardiac surgery department. He is organize the consilium or integrated team approach to the diagnostics and treatment of severe and complex patients.
The cardiology center periodically organizes scientific and practical discussion on contemporary problems of cardiology with clinical case presentation by doctors.
Scientific - Advisory Board is managing by head of the Clinic. The Board periodically discusses current and strategic issues relating to the activities of the center. Head of the center once a week convene a meeting of the Board, which discusses the problems, routine endovascular and open heart surgery cases, and other issues related to the treatment of patients. In case of necessity, the head may convene an extraordinary meeting at any time to discuss the urgent and complex clinical cases.
Each member of the Scientific Advisory Board during the discussions has the right to raise issues related to the clinic activity organization process and patients' treatment. The head of the departments of the Clinic periodically submit their report regarding the performed activity to the Scientific Advisory Board. Every morning under the presidency of Head of the Clinic the head of the departments presents the clinical status of their department, intervention and surgical case presentations, severe patient diagnostics and treatment plans and other practical questions.
