Allergists of Armenia are already members of a large family of international allergists. The International Association of Allergists has included the Association of «Allergists and Immunologists of Armenia» as a full member. On this occasion, as well as to participate in the International Conference on Allergy, leading experts in this field are in Yerevan.
These significant events took place thanks to the long-term efforts of the head of Allergology Service of MC Erebouni , President of the Armenian Association of Allergists and Immunologist, Chief Allergist of Yerevan Dr. Kristina Jamalyan.
The conference entitled "Modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases" is the first of its kind in terms of the number of participants and the relevance of the topics discussed in Armenia.
Allergists, physicians, ophthalmologists, family doctors, otolaryngologists, endocrinologists, rheumatologists from various medical centers of the republic take part in the conference. The main topics are prevention of allergic diseases, early and accurate diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
Well-known experts in the field of allergology came to Armenia to participate in the conference, thanks to whose efforts the latest standards in this field are being developed: Academician Revaz Sepiashvili, President of the World Organization of Immunotherapy, Professor William Kennedy Dolen, President of the the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI). The professor is in Armenia for the first time. He is impressed by the professionalism of our doctors, readiness for continuous training, applied techniques and, of course, Armenian hospitality.
During the conference, new opportunities in the field of allergology, modern approaches and standards of treatment were presented, which our doctors will be guided by in their work, keeping pace with world medicine.
