33-year-old woman Svetlana applied to the Maternity Clinic of MC Erebouni from the very beginning of pregnancy. During the first visit to the Head of the Maternity Clinic Dr. Andranik Poghosyan, it turned out that the pregnant woman has a number of health problems. As a child, Sveltana was diagnosed with a large hemangioma, which began from the thigh of the left leg, spread throughout the skin, reached the segment of the foot, there was also paralysis of the hip joint. A hemangioma is a benign tumor that is mainly located on one organ, without causing health problems. Svetlana's hemangiomas have multiple locations and caused internal bleeding at an early age, a large surgical intervention was performed to stop the bleeding. Regardless of the problems, Svetlana decided to take a risk and have a child. Despite the difficult and exceptional case, Dr. Andranik Poghosyan promised to do everything to safely bring the pregnancy to term. The necessary laboratory and instrumental examinations, including MRI, were carried out. It turned out that in addition to external hemangiomas, there are also numerous internal hemangiomas on the liver, in abdominal cavity, bladder, lungs. During pregnancy, blood clotting rates doubled and the tendency continued. These problems could cause thrombosis, bleeding and become life-threatening at any time. Throughout the pregnancy, Svetlana was under the supervision of gynecologists and specialists of the Мaternity Clinic of MC Erebouni and the Hematology Center. He received appropriate treatment, but the problems with blood clotting were not resolved. The risks remained during childbirth. During 36 weeks of pregnancy, it was decided to perform a cesarean section, which was performed under general anesthesia. A healthy baby girl was born. After the surgery, the woman in labor was in the intensive care unit for 24 hours, where the erythrocyte mass of the corresponding group was pre-ordered and manufactured. However, there was no need for a blood transfusion. Thanks to the persistent struggle of doctors, the strength of Svetlana and her husband, optimism managed to overcome all difficulties. As promised by Dr. Andranik Poghosyan, Svetlana left MC Erebouni with her child.
