MC Nairi has recently acquired the French “Echosense” ultrasound equipment, which has no analogues in Armenia. The equipment enables to define the degree of fibrosis and cirrhosis of the liver tissues. This is a non-invasive informative method, which is completely harmless for the patient and can be applied repeatedly.
This method of examination is considered an alternative to liver biopsy. The examination is indicated in chronic liver diseases, chronic hepatitis B and C, alcoholic liver disease, in case of obesity and cirrhosis of the liver. Due to high level of safety, this equipment diagnostics is also used in the monitoring of the liver disease treatment results and follow-up.
