Erebuni Medical Center has achieved a significant milestone by receiving the ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard, developed by the International Organization for Standardization. This certification underscores our commitment to providing the highest quality medical care in Armenia, with top-notch equipment, professional specialists, and safe medical practices.
The ISO 9001 standard aims to consistently meet customer requirements and enhance customer satisfaction. By obtaining this certification, Erebuni Medical Center aligns its operations with the standards of the world’s best medical centers.
Our journey to international qualification has been in partnership with Management Mix, a consulting and training company operating in 33 countries. To be on par with leading global clinics, it is crucial not only to have the best specialists and latest equipment but also to implement and continuously apply international quality management protocols.
Erebuni Medical Center is dedicated to establishing international standard services in Armenia, upholding our reputation as the country's premier medical facility. Since the accreditation process began, extensive work has been undertaken involving all aspects of the medical center to ensure quality implementation and management. This includes recertification, upskilling, and accreditation of our nursing staff, many of whom have achieved trainer status, and audits of various departments.
This certification marks the first significant step in our comprehensive international qualification process, with the ultimate goal being the prestigious Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation. While approximately 500,000 large medical facilities worldwide implement the ISO 9001 standard, only 900 have achieved JCI accreditation.
