3 years ago, a "first responders" service was introduced in Armenia for the most important, life- saving, on-site emergency medical care, or, as they say, air ambulance program.In the implementation of this program, MC Erebouni became a partner of the Ministry of Health, investing its technical and professional potential in the implementation of the program. Since the beginning of the project, 320 flights have been carried out so far. 25 children, 17 pregnant women and 9 women in labor were saved thanks to the air ambulance program, having urgently moved from the most remote settlements of the republic to the capital. The air ambulance program played a big role in the days of the war. 85 soldiers were transported by helicopter to the MC Erebouni during the 44-day war. From the most remote region of the republic, it is now possible to transfer a patient to the capital in 1 hour 5 minutes instead of 6 hours.
