Acute myocardial infarction. Symptoms and treatment.

11.06.2022

Acute myocardial infarction is an acute condition characterized by the death or necrosis of any part of the myocardium. The reason is an acute obstruction of a coronary artery. A heart attack has obvious symptoms: pain of a sharp compressive-depressive nature in the chest, which is located in the thoracic region and extends to the right and left halves, can spread to the throat, dentures, lower jaw, shoulder girdles, forearms, accompanied by cold sweating and fear of death.

Acute myocardial infarction is preceded by preinfarction conditions of the patient, which can last several days or several months. These seizures are also accompanied by the same symptoms, but lighter. If such complaints appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
